RemitBee Gold Waitlist Promotion — Terms and Conditions

The short version #

By joining the waitlist, you accept these Terms. These points summarise the terms below. If anything here conflicts with the full terms, the full terms apply.

• Join the waitlist and we reserve $11 of 24K pure gold (0.06 g) for you. It isn't yours yet. It's a reserved bonus.
• To receive it after RemitBee Gold launches, you must:
  1. create a RemitBee account, if you don't have one
  2. complete identity verification
  3. make a gold purchase of at least $10 CAD (fees are charged on top) in RemitBee Gold within 90 days of launch
• Referral bonus: for every friend who joins the waitlist with your link and then completes the same three steps, your friend receives 0.06 g (shown as $11 of gold) and you receive 0.06 g. You also need to have completed the three steps yourself.
• Timing: RemitBee Gold is planned to launch in early 2027. No bonus gold is given out before the official launch.
• No guarantee: if RemitBee Gold doesn't launch by May 1, 2027, reserved bonuses won't be given out and have no cash value.
• One bonus per household: RemitBee may limit bonuses to one person per address.
• RemitBee can change, pause or end this promotion at any time.

1. About this promotion #

1.1 The RemitBee Gold Waitlist Promotion (the "Promotion") is run by Remitbee Incorporated (2 Robert Speck Pkwy, Suite 620, Mississauga, ON L4Z 1H8) ("RemitBee", "we", "us").

1.2 By joining the RemitBee Gold waitlist (the "Waitlist"), you confirm that you have read, understood and accept these Terms and Conditions (the "Terms"). You accept them by ticking the acceptance box and submitting the sign-up form. If you don't accept these Terms, don't join the Waitlist.

1.3 We keep a record of when you accepted these Terms and which version you accepted. The version that applies to you is the one shown when you joined, as updated under section 10.

1.4 RemitBee Gold is a product, not yet launched, that will let customers buy, hold and sell 24K pure gold through the RemitBee app ("RemitBee Gold"). Your use of RemitBee Gold after launch, including any gold credited to you under this Promotion, will also be governed by the RemitBee Terms of Service and the RemitBee Gold product terms in force at that time (the "Product Terms"). If these Terms and the Product Terms conflict on anything about the Promotion, these Terms apply.

1.5 The Promotion is not a contest, lottery or game of chance. Every eligible participant who meets the conditions below receives the stated bonus.

2. Promotion period #

2.1 The Promotion starts on October 19, 2026. Sign-ups to the Waitlist count toward the Promotion until the date RemitBee Gold is made available to the public in Canada (the "Launch Date"), unless the Promotion ends earlier under section 10.

2.2 RemitBee plans to launch RemitBee Gold in early 2027. This is a target, not a promise. RemitBee decides the Launch Date at its sole discretion and will notify Waitlist members by email.

3. Who can take part #

3.1 To take part, you must:

• (a) be a resident of Canada;
• (b) have reached the age of majority in your province or territory of residence;
• (c) provide a valid first name and an email address that you own and can access; and
• (d) agree to receive emails from RemitBee about RemitBee Gold and this Promotion.

3.2 To receive any bonus gold (see section 5), you must also meet RemitBee's account eligibility, identity verification and compliance requirements, including those under the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act. RemitBee may decline to open an account or to credit a bonus where these requirements aren't met.

3.3 Each person may join the Waitlist once, using one email address. Each person may receive bonuses under only one RemitBee account.

3.4 One bonus per household. RemitBee may limit bonuses to one per household. A household means people who live at the same address. If more than one person in a household joins, we may give the bonus to only one of them.

4. Joining the Waitlist and reserved gold #

4.1 When you join the Waitlist, we reserve 0.06 grams of 24K pure gold for you, shown on the Site and in our emails as $11 of gold (the "Welcome Bonus").

4.2 Reserved gold isn't owned gold. Until it's credited under section 5:

• it's a conditional promotional entitlement only;
• it has no cash value;
• it can't be transferred, sold or exchanged; and
• it isn't held in your name.

4.3 "$11 of gold" is the value of 0.06 g of gold when this promotion was set, in October 2026, and we use that same figure everywhere we describe a bonus (for example, two bonuses are shown as $22). It doesn't change with the gold price. Bonuses are fixed in grams: what you receive is 0.06 g per bonus, and its value when it's credited depends on the gold price at that time, so it may be more or less than $11. Other dollar values on the Site, such as the gold price, are estimates based on the gold price at that time.

5. How to receive your bonus gold #

5.1 To receive your Welcome Bonus, you must complete all of the following within 90 days after the Launch Date (the "Claim Window"):

• (a) create a RemitBee account, if you don't already have one, using the same email address you used to join the Waitlist;
• (b) complete identity verification; and
• (c) make at least one gold purchase in RemitBee Gold of at least $10 CAD (a "Qualifying Purchase"). The $10 minimum is the value of gold bought. Fees are charged on top and don't count toward the minimum.

5.2 A purchase isn't a Qualifying Purchase if it is cancelled, reversed, refunded or charged back.

5.3 When you meet the conditions in 5.1, we'll credit the Welcome Bonus to your RemitBee Gold account as 24K gold, generally within 30 days after your Qualifying Purchase.

5.4 Once credited, bonus gold is treated like any other gold in your RemitBee Gold account and is governed by the Product Terms.

5.5 If you don't meet all the conditions in 5.1 within the Claim Window, your reserved Welcome Bonus and any reserved Referral Bonuses expire. They won't be credited, and nothing will be paid in their place.

6. Referral bonuses #

6.1 After you join the Waitlist, you'll get a personal referral link. You (the "Referrer") may share it with people you know.

6.2 You and your friend (the "Referred Friend") will each receive 0.06 grams of 24K gold (shown as $11 of gold) (a "Referral Bonus") when all of the following are true:

• (a) the Referred Friend joined the Waitlist using your referral link, during the Promotion period, and wasn't already on the Waitlist;
• (b) the Referred Friend, within the Claim Window: created a RemitBee account (if they don't already have one), completed identity verification, and made a Qualifying Purchase of at least $10 CAD;
• (c) you have also completed the steps in section 5.1 within the Claim Window; and
• (d) neither of you has broken these Terms.

6.3 For a Referred Friend, the 0.06 g they receive for joining through your link is their Welcome Bonus. It isn't an extra 0.06 g on top. Each person receives 0.06 g in total for joining, whether or not they were referred. The Referrer receives an additional 0.06 g for each qualifying Referred Friend.

6.4 There's no limit on the number of Referral Bonuses a Referrer can earn. RemitBee may review accounts with unusually high referral volumes before crediting bonuses (see section 9).

6.5 A referral is linked to the first referral link a person uses to join the Waitlist. It can't be changed afterwards, and it can't be added after the person has joined.

6.6 Referral Bonuses are credited generally within 30 days after the later of the two Qualifying Purchases (yours and your Referred Friend's), as long as the Referred Friend's Qualifying Purchase hasn't been cancelled, reversed, refunded or charged back.

6.7 You can't refer yourself, including through a second email address, account or device. Referrals between people who share a household, payment method or identity details may be reviewed.

7. Sharing your link responsibly #

7.1 You may share your referral link personally, for example with friends and family, in messaging apps, and on your own social media.

7.2 When sharing your link, you must not:

• (a) send unsolicited bulk messages or spam, or otherwise breach Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL);
• (b) buy paid ads, including search ads that bid on "RemitBee" or related terms, to promote your link;
• (c) post your link on coupon, deal or cashback websites;
• (d) make false or misleading statements about RemitBee, RemitBee Gold, gold returns or this Promotion; or
• (e) pretend to be RemitBee or suggest that RemitBee endorses you.

7.3 If RemitBee compensates you separately to promote RemitBee Gold (for example as an influencer), you must clearly disclose that relationship in line with Ad Standards' Influencer Marketing Disclosure Guidelines.

8. Launch is not guaranteed #

8.1 RemitBee Gold is a product that hasn't launched yet. RemitBee doesn't guarantee that RemitBee Gold will launch, or that it will launch on any particular date or with any particular features, fees or minimums.

8.2 No bonus gold is given out before the official Launch Date.

8.3 If RemitBee Gold doesn't launch by May 1, 2027, or RemitBee decides not to launch it:

• the Promotion ends automatically;
• all reserved Welcome Bonuses and Referral Bonuses lapse;
• no gold, cash or other compensation will be provided in their place; and
• we'll notify Waitlist members by email.

9. Fraud and abuse #

9.1 RemitBee may, at its sole discretion, refuse, withhold, reverse or cancel any bonus, and remove anyone from the Waitlist or the Promotion, if we reasonably believe that person:

• (a) has broken these Terms;
• (b) has used fake, duplicate or temporary email addresses, false identities, bots or automated means;
• (c) has engaged in self-referral, collusion, or any fraudulent or abusive activity; or
• (d) is ineligible under section 3.

9.2 If bonus gold was credited because of fraud, abuse, error or a breach of these Terms, RemitBee may remove it from your RemitBee Gold account, or recover its value, to the extent permitted by law and the Product Terms.

9.3 RemitBee's records of sign-ups, referrals and purchases are final in determining eligibility, absent manifest error.

10. Changes, suspension and termination #

10.1 RemitBee may change, suspend or end the Promotion, or these Terms, at any time, including if:

• RemitBee Gold is delayed or won't launch;
• there's fraud or abuse; or
• there are technical, legal or regulatory reasons.

10.2 We'll post changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects you, we'll also tell you by email before it takes effect, where required by law.

10.3 If the Promotion ends before the Launch Date, reserved bonuses lapse unless we tell you otherwise in writing. If the Promotion ends after the Launch Date, anyone who has already met all the conditions in sections 5 and 6 by the end date will still receive the bonuses they've earned.

11. Gold price, risk and taxes #

11.1 The price of gold can go down as well as up, sometimes for long periods. Past performance doesn't guarantee future results. Nothing in this Promotion is investment, tax or financial advice.

11.2 RemitBee Gold isn't a deposit. It isn't insured by the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC) or covered by the Canadian Investor Protection Fund (CIPF).

11.3 You're responsible for any taxes that apply to bonuses you receive or to any later sale of gold. RemitBee may issue tax information or slips where required by law.

12. Your information #

12.1 To run the Promotion, we collect your first name, email address, consent record, your answers to the sign-up questions, referral information, and limited technical data (for example a scrambled, non-reversible version of your IP address, used to prevent abuse).

12.2 We use this information to run the Waitlist and the Promotion, to prevent fraud, to send you emails about RemitBee Gold and your bonuses, and to understand interest in RemitBee Gold.

12.3 Your information is stored in Canada. It is kept until 90 days after the Launch Date (or after the Promotion ends, if earlier) and then deleted, unless you become a RemitBee customer, in which case our Privacy Policy applies.

12.4 If you're referred, your first name is shown to the person who referred you, along with your status (for example "Joined"). We never show your email address or last name to other users.

12.5 You can unsubscribe from Promotion emails at any time using the link in any email. Unsubscribing doesn't remove your place on the Waitlist or your reserved bonuses, but you may miss launch and claim reminders.

13. Liability #

13.1 To the extent permitted by law, RemitBee isn't liable for:

• any loss arising from the Promotion, including technical failures, lost or delayed emails, incorrect referral tracking, or changes to or termination of the Promotion; or
• any indirect or consequential loss.

13.2 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act (Quebec) for Quebec residents, that can't be limited or excluded.

14. General #

14.1 Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Quebec residents keep the protections of Quebec law that can't be waived, and may bring proceedings in Quebec.

14.2 Language. These Terms are available in English and French.

14.3 Severability. If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.

14.4 No transfer. You can't transfer your Waitlist place, reserved bonuses or referral link to anyone else.

14.5 Entire agreement. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and RemitBee about the Promotion.
